月球上的藍玫瑰 (The Blue Rose on the Moon), performed by Ramon Lo, is a song about imagination, distance, tenderness, and courage.

Creative Brief

Listen to 月球上的藍玫瑰 (The Blue Rose on the Moon) on major music platforms and create one artwork in any medium to express your interpretation.

Judge

Winning works will be selected by Mr. Ramon Lo. He is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (Interior Architecture) and Parsons School of Design, New York (Communication Design).

Evaluation Focus

Visual storytelling, symbolism, completeness, originality, and emotional resonance.

Categories & Media

You may submit multiple entries, but only one artwork can be uploaded per submission.

Traditional Art Category (Age 13+): watercolour, gouache, oil, acrylic, pastel, sketch, collage, craft painting, comics, and more (any medium is allowed, except works modified or generated digitally or by generative AI).

AI / Digital Creation Category (Age 13+): digital painting, mixed media, AI-assisted or AI-generated works (no restrictions on tools or workflow), with greater weight given to digital artworks.

Registration & Submission

All submissions are online: finish your artwork → prepare your file → complete the form and upload → check and save your confirmation. To ensure fairness, please follow the file requirements below.

File format: JPG or PNG

Max file size: 10MB

Traditional artworks: please photograph clearly from the front. Keep the original physical work safely until the event ends (we may request the original for verification/exhibition).

AI/Digital works: please retain original files (e.g. project files, generation logs/records) for verification if necessary.

Traditional Art Category

Champion: HKD 10,000
1st Runner-up: HKD 5,000
2nd Runner-up: HKD 2,500
Merit Award: HKD 500 each (5 recipients)

AI / Digital Creation Category

Champion: HKD 10,000
1st Runner-up: HKD 2,500
2nd Runner-up: HKD 1,250
Merit Award: HKD 250 each (5 recipients)

Winning and selected works will be invited to be showcased in a themed exhibition. Details on labelling, display size, and printing arrangements will be provided when results are announced.

Rules

By submitting, you agree the organiser may use your work for competition display, results announcements, an online gallery, and exhibition display (with artist credit retained).

If your work includes another person's likeness or copyrighted material, you are responsible for securing permission; the organiser may request proof where necessary.

If verification is required (original physical artwork / source files for digital or AI works), failure to provide within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

Any plagiarism, misappropriation, impersonation, or clearly inappropriate content will be disqualified.

The organiser reserves the final right of decision (including categorisation, judging outcomes, award allocation, and exhibition arrangements).
